About me

Hello, I’m Alison. I live in Hamilton, Ontario right near the edge of the beautiful Niagara escarpment, looking out onto Lake Ontario. As an artist, my passion for drawing began the moment I could hold a pencil. I was later educated at Sheridan College, where I studied in the illustration program. 

   

When reading books as a child, I marvelled at stepping into other worlds by means of words and pictures. Today, I strive to convey the same invitation to others with my blend of classic drawing and painting techniques mixed with atmospheric light and shadow.
